Rock N Learn DVDs - Review and Giveaway!

I had the pleasure of reviewing two Rock N Learn DVDs this week.  I received them from Educents.    Educents currently has these and a few other DVDs on sale. They are up to 38% off. I was not paid to give this review.

I let my students view portions of both DVDs to both review what we have learned in Life Science/Physical Science this year and to get their take on the DVDs.

First, I really enjoyed that the material was easy to understand.  There were sections that I skipped because the students didn't go over plant life cycles this year.  We focused on the butterfly life cycle.  The students enjoyed the game show scenes and loved trying to answer the questions along with the character in the DVD.

Also, the Physical Science DVD did a wonderful job going over the Scientific Method and the States of Matter.  My students enjoyed both DVDs and I thought it would be a great tool to use in the classroom next year to introduce the concepts at my grade level.  It would be a wonderful review as well.

Again some of the portions of the DVDs are not right for my second grade students but some of the portions are just right.

Click on the image above if you want to check out the deal they have on Educents.

I am giving away both the DVDs I was able to watch.  Please enter below.

    1. AND I didn't read all of the directions! hah I'm worse than my students! :) My favorite organizational tool would have to be my binders as well! I have about 20 of them now, one for each reading skill and one for each subject among other topics. :) I love them!! It's so much easier than files in my filing cabinet because I never remember where I put things. Teacher brain! Too much to think about to remember!

  4. My favorite organizational tool would have to be my easel... I know, strange to say it is an organizational tool, but for me and my love of writing it has all I need to keep me organized when teaching my favorite subject. :):)

  5. Using 3 ring binders and page protectors to keep my stuff better organized!

  6. My Dymo. I labeled everything in my room this year, and now I can find everything and so can any other adult who comes in there looking for something.

  7. I love using binders to stay organized! I plan on my students using binders as a home-school communicator.

  8. I have been in love with using gallon ziploc bags to organize my themes in paper boxes and laminate all of my master copies. I can't lose it if it is laminated!

  9. Uhhh... I have been horrible at organization. It is a big goal for this summer and next year but binders have been my go to thing for organizing paperwork and data that I need. My jump drive has been my lifesaver when it comes to organizing also.

  10. My favorite would be binder/container that hold everything for each theme. Everything I need is in that container. Makes teaching themes or units a breeze.
