I was so excited to see that I hadn't missed the first Monday Made It.
I was creative this weekend and I wanted to share another easy thing I made for my desk/computer space.
Thanks to my students I got a few coffee mugs this year. I finally had time to decorate one. I used some pictures of my son and some wonderful sayings I found on the web about special needs and autism.
Here is the blank canvas.
My hubby bought this gem at the thrift store. It works.
After I laminated it was time to decide which ones to use.
I love these but I'll use them for something else.
They are a little to big.
Autism
is a journey I never planned,
but I sure do love my tour guide.
I'll be using this one as long as it keeps my coffee warm.
I did make a little poster for a small frame.
It is right by workspace and it has been a great reminder all year long.
I can't wait to blog hop and get inspired to make a few things this summer.
I'm so happy to be able to take this little guy to the park daily.
How sweet is that coffee mug you made?! Love it and all that it says:) Your sign is great too!!!! Thank for grabbing my new buttons and linking up:) Here's to a fun, busy summer:)

I know some special mommies that would love that mug! And a very special teacher friend! I'll have to share this with her. Thanks for the great idea!

I love your Be Here Now wall art! That is fabulous! And a great reminder for both teacher and student. I'm always worried about both the past and the future, and the kids are always thinking ahead to recess...

The Be Here Now art is so amazing! I love the saying and want that in my classroom! But, your words about the journey of autism really touched my heart. Thanks so much for sharing!
